Truck hits picketers, kills United Auto Workers member on strike in Jackson

JACKSON, MI – Over 100 people holding lighted candles packed the corner of E. Michigan and S. East avenues on Sunday, Sept. 29.

Family, friends and members of United Auto Workers were there to show their support for a union member who died after being struck by a vehicle while picketing near Eaton Aerospace in Jackson, President of UAW Local 475 Donnie Huffman said.
